Reddit Megathread Archive: The Complete Girl Violence Tour Infodump Thread

Seeing as it's already April 2026, I should probably take the Girl Violence megathread down from the Featured Community Highlights page on Reddit. But it's such a masterpiece that I wanted to have a way to find it easily again so I'm going to plug it in here to easily find it again.

Poster edit, Megathread for GV tour

The thread body is as follows:

Some dates will have opening acts, we will list them below as we know them. We expect the show to run from between 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately.

Concert Prep Tips and Tricks:

  1. When lining up outside at doors, bring a marker to determine line order for GA before venue staff arrive. Get line buddies to give you breaks you so you can all pee/eat/sleep before wristbands or ticketing staff come out.

  2. Wear comfortable clothing & shoes, have some water or snacks, bring earplugs, power banks for your phone, hand sanitizer, or masks for your health. Most venues allow small bags or clear bags. Be sure to bring enough cash / credit cards for merch or rideshare. Check with individual venues for their policies. Once inside the venue, make note of the emergency exits and floor plan. Always pee before GA standing, too! You might bring a small folding stool or something comfortable to sit on for long waits.

  3. Make sure your costumes, outfits, battle jackets or accessories are comfortable and have no sharp edges that security may reject. Also, use deodorant & shower before your show -- no one wants to be next to *that* girl or guy who didn't.

  4. While this show is an all ages show, think wisely, don't bring babies, toddlers, or pets who will not understand the noise / darkness / bright lights / or subject matter. If you do bring your kids, educate your children beforehand on the subject matter & proper concert etiquette so they are safe and aware. Remember, no one paid hundreds to hear a screaming child and not the show. Don't be that family.

  5. Check ahead with the venue for ADA polices or assistance if you or someone you know has special needs or is handicapped. Most venues will accommodate by law.

  6. You can help contribute to our shared King Princess fan history by recording your show!

  7. We strongly encourage fan taping and fan recording of this tour for our communal queer history and for all the thousands of fans who were not lucky enough to get tickets or see the livestreams for the Girl Violence tour.

  8. You can record your show on your Iphone or Android's video camera, or use Voice Notes / Voice Recorder to tape the show on your phone. Start your recording before the show begins, leave it on, and turn it off after the show ends. This way, you capture the entire thing for the world and help keep these concerts from becoming lost media.

  9. Be mindful of the energy you bring to the space. Rudeness, homophobia, transphobia, or just plain being a jerk ruins the vibe for people and for you as well. Consider perhaps not drinking, or lightly drinking, and not partaking of drugs beforehand, it's important your senses aren't impaired. You want to fully enjoy the show as it happens and remember it afterwards :)

Have fun and enjoy the show! You are witnessing one of the single most talented singer songwriters of our generation.
