Welcome to a digital space for King Princess' Media Archives!

Welcome to the online home of King Princess Archives!

Here is where you will find a fan curated collection of her works online in one place, for the first time, barring official releases that can be purchased on Itunes / Apple Music / Spotify, ect. I made this site because of a painful awareness that such a site doesn't exist, at least not on the suface web.

Why do we need this site in our lives, you might ask? I will answer you!

Media, videos, and audio are silently disappearing off the internet.

The ephemeral nature of TikTok, Discord, Instagram, and other social media outlets where King Princess' music is posted compels us to create this safe haven. Stories evaporate in 24 hours. Posts can be deleted or lost forever. Youtube and even the NBC World News archives have lost footage of hers, and those are supposed to be more permanent than social media!

For example:

Today is January 27th, 2024.

If you go the Rolling Stone official website, and try to watch this live video of KP's "Let Us Die":

https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/king-princess-let-us-die-tonight-show-1392015/

you will have an annoying surprise, it will not play at all. It has been removed, for reasons unknown. This is not acceptable to the fans, we deserve to have the music and history preserved, for the future fans.

Even NBC doesn't have this video, it has been removed there as well:

"Sorry, video no longer available"
(like, why tho, we pay you enough money, make it playable, NBC, you million dollar company you.)

This is not cool. People liked that video.  A Youtube search also comes up empty, or with other videos that aren't that one.

Here is where we get creative! Thanks to that modern miracle of technology that is The Wayback Machine (god bless you Library of Congress!) we have a way to bring back this video from digital death and loss.

You can read the full article by clicking here , by the way. It's very good.

Putting the URL of the RS article into Wayback comes up with a playable video!

Someone forward thinking enough to run Rolling Stone's site through this web crawler on a date shortly after the video aired preserved this for us, the fans, for all time (or as long as The Wayback Machine should exist)

Now we can set to work. Manipulating the Inspect Elements in Google Chrome allows us to rip the video it it's entirety and preserve it for YOU, the fans of King Princess, and for the world.

In this safe space, you can now find this video and watch it for yourself as many times as you like.

Here is a link to download this to your computer. It is 1280 x 720 frames and decent for what we could rip, although perhaps someday we can find that someone ripped an HQier version out there somewhere, maybe someone with a DVR or ripping software that just LOVES Jimmy Fallon and happened to back up his show!

I, for one, am late, terribly late, to the KP fandom, and I see it as my duty to help future fans not lose anything, as it is all very special. There don't seem to be any spaces online for King Princess discussion, there is no King Princess Reddit sub as of this typing, the sub has been banned from Reddit. Not cool. It deserves to have it's own space on reddit, a place where fans can discuss the music and overall vibes.

like, seriously though, WHY.... KP management please fix this, it's your name, after all...

In that spirit, please enjoy this site as we build it from the ground up!
